Congratulations on your decision to audition for TickleFilms!

We are pleased to be able to invite you to audition for TickleTalk. Due to the massive numbers of submissions we receive worldwide we employ what we call "self service audition" - you may use a 8mm, miniDV, VHS-C or VHS video camera for your audition.

We can also receive auditions "digitally" - contact us for specifics if you have that ability. Please not that "webcams" do not have appropriate resolution and are not acceptable, if you only have webcam then submit on videotape instead.

Please pay careful attention to each of the requirements listed (i.e. no wrist watches, etc.) they are there for a very specific reason and must be followed.

If you get selected to go onward after this audition to the next step, you shall be paid for STAGE TWO (this is STAGE ONE) and any additional auditions or tryouts we request. We will attempt to "fine tune" you for the series and may require multiple paid auditions and/or television appearances, details of which will be provided to you if you make it past STAGE ONE.

Also, another note that has generally relieved actors who worry about competition... Even though we receive hundreds of submissions each month for this series, EACH and EVERY submission is judged on its own merit. I am allowed to use *everyone* who is suitable, you are not competing with anyone other than yourself - so let the cameras roll!

Break a leg!

P.S. If you do *not* have access to a video camera, email me by visiting http://www.ticklefilms.com, clicking 'contact' and let me know what city you are in and I will make a judgment on how to proceed. Please also note that video cameras can generally be rented for about $10.00/hr and you will need it for only 10 minutes.

Guidelines for TickleTalk auditions
"STAGE ONE"

You must be a slender 18-30 year old (producers may require identification at our option)

You need to have a t-shirt on, remove watches from your wrist if you are wearing any - other jewelry is ok. You are also to be clean shaven.

You must set up your video camera so that it shows you from head to feet with a solid colored background. Lighting must be good.

Remember, you are the star - the only dialogue we should hear is you and the camera operator. There should be no other distractions such as phones, other voices, dogs barking inside the house, birds screeching inside, etc.

The camera must be rolling for no less then 5 seconds before dialogue proceeds.

You are to state your name, phone number and email address. Speak clearly, loudly and distinctly (visualize you are a MARINE!). Then repeat it all over again.

The camera operator is to ask you the following questions, you must answer them as complete as possible. You are to answer them loudly and distinctly - we MUST hear your answers.

1.) Are you ticklish?
2.) How ticklish would you say you are?
3.) Do you like, dislike, or hate to be tickled? Why?
4.) Where are your most ticklish areas?
5.) Tell me, generally, how TICKLISH you think you are and then rank these areas...FROM MOST TO LEAST...(ten being most and one being least) in terms of how ticklish you are there when the areas are tickled:

--under your arms
--kneecaps
--area on leg behind knees
--soles of feet
--toes/between toes/area on top of feet
--upper thighs
--inner thighs
--stomach
--lower ribs
--upper ribs
--neck/under chin
--ears/behind ears
--how about when someone pokes you on the side?
--both sides at the same time?
--any areas left out???

6.) How often are you tickled...and by whom?
7.) Describe your specific reactions to tickling as it is happening to you; movement, laughing, etc...

Now for the most important part, you will take a brief tickle test, remember it must be longer than 30 seconds of actual tickling and honestly the longer the better because we will be making 90% of our decision/selection from this segment of the audition... so take it as long as you can! Now for the instructions...

After you answer the last question, you shall place your hands behind your head and interlace your fingers (like the cops say to do) and do not release them until the tickling is concluded. If you can not hold your hands together, then make your best effort and do *NOT* block the tickling, stand up straight if you can.

The tickler shall come up to you and stand behind you then begin to tickle you using the information he/she has learned in question #5. The tickler must always stand behind you and not block the camera's view of you as we need to see your reactions and we can't do that with someone standing in front of the camera.

If you have any questions on how you are to do your audition, please ask them before sending in your tape to be certain it is done correctly.
